Born and raised in East Grand Rapids, Megan re-joins the Smallegan team after taking a brief hiatus to be a full-time mom. Megan graduated from St. Mary's College in Notre Dame, IN., with a degree in developmental psychology and then moved to Boulder, CO., where she worked in special education classrooms. Megan moved back to Grand Rapids in 2010 and began work in her family's business. She then met her husband, Casey, and decided to put down her own roots in the city she always loved. Megan believes that Grand Rapids is an ideal area for families and young professionals. From the friendly people to the picture-perfect settings, there are few places like West Michigan.

Megan also dedicates much of her time to charity, and is proud to volunteer her time to both the Patient and Family Advisory Committee at Trinity Health, and to the CCF West Michigan chapter. Megan and her husband also own and operate Pharmhouse Wellness, Grand Rapids' only locally owned and operated cannabis dispensary and grow.

Even with all the time Megan devotes to volunteering for great causes, helping at the family business, and selling real estate, the title of "Mom" is the one she is most proud of. Her two young children, Marie (7) and Emily (3) are her greatest accomplishments. Megan now lives in the Ottawa Hills neighborhood with her husband and their two girls.
