Formally established as a Grand Rapids neighborhood in 1996, the Oakdale Neighborhood is a small, up-and-coming community based around the Oakdale Park Christian Reform Church.

This neighborhood is home to more than 2000 people and the church has been the source for many community activities and a welcoming gathering area for the last 100 years.
