Even as one of the smaller neighborhoods in Grand Rapids, Michigan, there are still many great amenities that the Baxter Neighborhood can offer residents.

Great outdoor amenities for all ages…

Located in the center of the neighborhood, Joe Taylor Park is a two-acre park that offers outdoor amenities to all Baxter residents. The Kaboom Playground and Water Playground are great for all ages. There's also a picnic shelter and grills for outdoor dining also located on the northeast side of the neighborhood.

The Wealthy Theater is a community art center, and people come from all over Grand Rapids to see the shows.

On the north side of Wealthy Street, just across from the Baxter Neighborhood, there are a number of great restaurants to dine at. The Electric Cheetah is a highly recommended restaurant that makes all their food from scratch using all natural and locally grown ingredients.
