Grand Rapids Public Schools (GRPS) is the largest school district in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Alger Middle School is one of the many schools that make up this district. Alger was built in 2006 and is located in the Alger Park neighborhood in southeast Grand Rapids. The school building features state-of-the-art classrooms, innovative common areas, and modern technology. There are also beautiful soccer, softball, track, and baseball fields on the school grounds. These fields allow our scholars to practice sportsmanship in the safety of our school grounds. Whether it's for academics or extracurricular purposes, Alger's campus is designed to maximize learning. We are proud to be part of GRPS and to provide our scholars with an excellent education.
