Southeast prides itself on having small class sizes and great staff-to-student relationships. Classes at Southeast are nine weeks long, which helps scholars complete credit recovery at a faster rate and gives them the option to graduate and receive their diploma from their base high school. Southeast also works with community partners and Grand Rapids Community College (GRCC) to provide opportunities to GRPS scholars within the community, such as job shadowing, internships, and dual enrollment courses. We want our scholars not only to finish high school, but to be prepared to excel in the real world after they graduate!
