Southwest Middle High School is a dynamic, close-knit community of scholars, teachers, and administrators committed to preparing our students for success in the 21st century. Our unique dual immersion learning environment exposes our students to two languages and cultures, preparing them to be bilingual and bicultural global citizens. Research shows that bilingualism and biculturism provide a competitive edge in college and the workplace, and our scholars’ accomplishments are a testimony to the dual immersion model’s effectiveness. By providing instruction in both Spanish and English, our scholars continually grow as biliterate readers and writers, developing the skills they need to compete in an increasingly global economy.
