Welcome to Allendale Public Schools located west of Grand Rapids. Nestled in the scenic Allendale Township, it is a quick drive into downtown Grand Rapids. Head the other direction and you will find yourself on the shores of Lake Michigan. At Allendale Public Schools, they are focused on students making decisions and strive to create a high standard of education for their students. Both of these strategies are done in a safe and nurturing environment to help students excel as they head into their future. Allendale Public Schools are also pleased to offer a fine arts program where students who are interested in theatre can participate in plays. Middle school and high school students are encouraged to showcase their theatrical talents on stage through programs such as band, choir, and drama club. 

Allendale Township is also home to Grand Valley State University, home of the Lakers. GVSU is a common university for students that graduate from Allendale Public Schools because it keeps them close to home. With the scenic view, you would almost never know there was a university in the middle of the wood. The GVSU archway is the gateway to campus live hidden among the trees and vegetation. Allendale Township is also filled with fields of crops, the popular Countryside Greenhouse, and Motman's Greenhouse.
