FOREST HILLS SCHOOL DISTRICT

The Forest Hills School District is a highly ranked school system among academics and parents who have children that attend the schools in the neighborhood. With such a large school district, the school system is broken down into three sections. Forest Hills Central, Forest Hills Eastern, and Forest Hills Northern all consist of highly recommended elementary and high schools. Wondering what district your dream home is in? Forest Hills Central is the first of three sections that come highly ranked in academics with all of their schools being ranked at 8 out of 10 stars of higher. The school system consists of a high school and middle school along with a number of elementary schools. Thornapple Elementary, Ada Elementary, and Pine Ridge Elementary are loved by students and recommended by parents. In addition to the number of elementary schools, there is a Central Woodlands 5/6 School for fifth and sixth graders to attend.

Forest Hills Eastern is the second district in the school system which also comes highly ranked with 8 out of 10 stars for academics. This portion of the district has a high school, middle school, and two elementary schools for their students. Orchard View Elementary and Knapp Forest Elementary have reviews that speak for themselves with parents raving about how much they love the school system their child attends.

The third portion of the school district is Forest Hills Northern which includes more schools ranked 8 out of 10 stars or better. Included in this section of the district is a high school, middle school, and two elementary schools. Meadow Brook Elementary which is rated academically with 10 out of 10 stars and Collins Elementary rated with 8 out of 10 stars for academics. In addition, Forest Hills Northern has a Northern Trails 5/6 School for students in fifth and sixth grade to attend.

The neighborhood also has a Forest Hills Fine Arts Center which was created to encourage the artistic ability of youth in the area. With a 1,200 person capacity, this auditorium holds performances that are put on by students for their family and friends to come see.

Explore Forest Hills

Forest Hills is a large neighborhood that has plenty of space for outdoor activities. The Forest Hills Park Association is a member-only park that has been around for over 50 years. This park is great for enjoying the summer months with a pool, beach volleyball, a playground, and so much more. Stop by this park and make lifelong memories with your friends and family with 15-acres of outdoor enjoyment.

Another great outdoor area is the Grand River Nature Area with 100-acres of woodland and wetlands. This nature area is filled with trails for walking or hiking and bike trails for those who wish to ride. Feel free to bring your dog along for your walk or hike but make sure to keep them on a leash.

Egypt Valley Country Club is another great member-only outdoor area to enjoy during the summer months. This club has golf, a pool, and tennis courts for their members to enjoy. They also host events like weddings, social events, or golf events for their members to take advantage of. The country club also offers a number of dining options for their guest while enjoying the facility and can craft a delicious meal for events hosted at the club.
