The Grandville neighborhood is a welcoming community with a highly rated school system. Many of the schools within the Grandville Public School District are rated with 8 out of 10 stars or higher for their academic accomplishments. Parents with children who attend Grandville Public Schools also rank the schools very highly.

With a highly ranked high school, the school system also offers a number of highly ranked elementary schools for children to attend. Grand View Elementary, Cummings Elementary, and Central Elementary all have 8 out of 10 stars for their academic capabilities. Grandville West and South Elementary schools are ranked 9 out 10 stars for academics. With the highest ranking, Grandville Century Park Learning Center is ranked 10 out of 10 stars. With the highest ranking, Grandville Century Park Learning Center is ranked 10 out of 10 stars. This school is dedicated to teaching students how to be successful in their future endeavors by allowing them to work together in classrooms.

THE GRANDVILLE NEIGHBORHOOD

One of the main attractions of the Grandville neighborhood is RiverTown Crossings which is full of popular stores, a movie cinema, and a food court. This mall is a great place to get some exercise while shopping through an array of popular stores. Surrounding RiverTown Crossings mall is a number of restaurants to choose from when dining out. Nearby restaurants include Sakura, Olive Garden, On The Border, Anna’s House, and many other great options to choose from.

Another great place to visit in the neighborhood is the Cook Library Center which provides events and activities for people to participate in. The Cooks Art Center gives residents access to activities that are artistic in nature and allows for creativity to be used. Cook Library Center is dedicated to creating intellectual development and continuing to improve literacy among children.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES IN GRANDVILLE

Grandville is a large neighborhood with great things to do but also has plenty of space dedicated to parks and nature. Wedgewood Park is a great area to enjoy baseball diamonds, a horseshoe pit, charcoal grills, and many other great amenities. On the south side of the park, you can find Buck Creek which runs off the Grand River. Also along the Buck Creek, you will find a two-mile trail perfect for walking, running, or riding your bike while enjoying nature.

For more outdoor living, Heritage Park is a 19-acre area dedicated to being outside with a pond in the center of the park. Enjoy the walking paths, basketball court, and playground equipment or head to the pond and feed the ducks or geese. Near the Calvin Christian Schools system, visit Calvin Crest Park for a number of sporting fields, picnic tables, and pathways through nature.

Children of all ages are welcome to test out their batting skills at the Grandville Little League Baseball Complex. Boys and girls are welcome to participate in softball and baseball leagues. The league is designed to help children better their baseball skills and learn to work in a team environment, but most importantly have fun while learning.
